Anna Ponnudurai
Anna is a fully registered psychologist with AHPRA (Board of Psychology in Australia), with extensive experience with young people and families, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
She has worked in the area of mental health for over 13 years, with experience in anxiety, depression, stress management, and Alcohol and Other Drugs. She has worked with various ethnic backgrounds and economic demographics.
Anna works primarily with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to support her clients, and draws on Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Schema Therapy and motivational interviewing techniques.
Each approach is tailored to your individual needs. Anna can also conduct psychometric assessments. She is passionate about showing people how to maintain their own health and wellbeing, so they are able to show up for those whom they lead and care for.
Anna creates a collaborative therapeutic space to equip and support her clients to understand themselves and their world. Anna is a friendly and approachable psychologist. Her genuine and honest approach to therapy allows her clients to be at ease and in turn create support and change in their worlds.
