Ilya Mokalev
Ilya is a Registered Psychologist with a particular interest in supporting children and adults who have experienced single-incident and complex trauma. Ilya brings compassion, authenticity, curiosity, and acceptance into his work.
For the past decade, Ilya has been working with clients of all ages, particularly children and adolescents, and their carers and parents in the child protection sector, where he has been providing trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions towards healing trauma and developing psychological flexibility.
Ilya’s primary model of intervention is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, that works well together with other modalities to support well-being.
